I cannot say enough about these guys. My dog had a particularly complex surgery (TECA) on both ears. I live in a community in NM that didn’t have a board-certified surgeon that I was comfortable with to do the surgery so we drove over 3 hours to Tucson. Buddy was well taken care of during this process and they accommodated my traveling schedule so we weren’t driving in the summer heat. Dr. Shelley explained the procedure and risks in detail and the staff was incredibly gracious and patient with a dog mom who was an absolute wreck. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone having to consider surgery for their fuzzy companion. Thanks again for the great care. -Buddy’s mom 🐾
Snoop had been fighting a chronic ear infection for over a year. We started at primary care, escalated to a dermatologist and when it could not be treated any longer at these levels TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) ended up being the final step to mitigating this condition. Made calls all over the valley, a place in New Mexico and even a facility in Ft. Worth. When the staff answered the phone at the Peoria location, I knew we had found our place. They had not even given me the pricing yet when I knew this was the place. They answered the phone quickly, a really human answered! We all know this is not so common anymore. A friendly, courteous and professional voice. Then the price ended up being quite a bit lower than anyone else in the valley. Do not let the low price lead you to thinking the facility, staff or services are sub par, it is quite the opposite. We have visited many facilities and dealt with a lot of staff throughout this process. The Peoria location is the best!!! TECA is a complex surgery, not to be trusted to just any surgeon. Robert Newman, DVM is awesome. Snoop's surgery went perfect. His follow up appointments are done with great care and patience. Snoop is 78 pounds of hard to control dog, of course he is my sweet boy, but examining and treating him is not easy. His challenges were not a challenge for this staff. They make it look easy. If you have a family member in need of surgery, stop here and make an appointment. You will not beat the care or price making anymore phone calls.
Maggie received excellent care after dislocating her ankle bone and torn ligaments. They kept in constant contact with us during her one-night stay after surgery providing us with frequent updates on her progress and every few days after until our final visit. Every team member provided top notch care. Thank you to Dr. Shelley and the entire team for making an unfortunate accident easier to cope with. We appreciate all of the support.
