My son started with Grandmaster Kim just over two years ago and has grown both physically and mentally by leaps and bounds in that time. Smaller for his age, knowing how to defend himself is not only important but has also boosted his confidence. He is attentive and mindful of how he treats his body because of the mindset instilled in these classes. As I write this review two years into the program, he’s a high brown belt with skills I never imagine he’d have and a deep care for physical fitness.
Our daughter has been attending Master Kim’s classes for almost 4 months now and she absolutely loves it. She never wants to miss a class. Master Kim is always there with three other instructors so there is always an instructor teaching 3-4 kids at a time, correcting them on their technique, and keeping them moving. When my daughter tested for yellow belt she had to submit grades, along with a teacher signature saying she was a good student, and with parental approval. The discipline they teach is phenomenal and I see a difference in my child.
We have been with Elite Taekwondo for about 7 years now. Our experience with this place has been really wonderful. As many other reviewers have said, at first, we were a little hesitant to sign up for a rather long contract with little children, but because of the commitment we had made, it was motivation for us as well to push ourselves when we had our ups and downs. For the first contract period, our two kids joined the training because we brought them and they were ok with it.
