About Banner Occupational Health Clinic
Banner Occupational Health Clinic is a medical facility that has received mixed reviews. Some patients have reported quick and efficient service, with little wait time and friendly staff. The clinic is described as clean and well-maintained. However, there have been some complaints about the level of privacy in the exam rooms, which are separated by curtains and not walls. One patient reported feeling that their conversation with a medical professional could be heard by others in the vicinity. There have also been some concerns about the quality of care provided by certain staff members. One patient reported having a negative experience with a phlebotomy technician who inserted a needle at a steep angle, causing pain and bleeding. The patient felt that the technician did not respond appropriately when they reported feeling light-headed as a result. Despite these issues, other patients have had positive experiences with the clinic's providers. One patient reported that their provider, Dr. Woodruff, was not only pleasant but also highly attentive and concerned about their medical issue. Overall, the clinic appears to have a mix of positive and negative aspects, and individual experiences may vary.
My gf & I went in last night for bad cat scratches & bites. To the point where there was a bunch of deep gashes on her arm, deep scratches, and nonstop bleeding for 2+ hours. completely understandable that you can't do much for this stuff or wrap it for a long period of time but they didn't even help clean the blood or helped it stop bleeding. When we got home we had to do their job I get you're teaching kiddos how to become nurses but you're supposed to actually act like a doctor for them to follow your lead... $600+ later for the doctor to put both hands behind his back, peek over at the scratches & bites and said "not much for us to do" then dipped. Do better. Ladies up front though were super friendly & actually wrapped her wounds up to stop the bleeding... that the doctor later proceeded to complain about lmao.
I'm here now and the service is horrible. The nurse came in and didn't even introduce himself. The dr is dismissive and didn't even try to understand my daughters pain. Not happy at all. No kindness or empathy. I had banner gateway on a pedestal and now I do not. So disappointed
We took my daughter in the ER in March. We were treated like we were overreacting and had to push for tests. Despite my daughter having asthma, and breathing issues upon check in, they made her stand up and hold her breath for a chest x-ray. She passed out and hit her head while falling down. Afterwards we heard staff laughing about it. My daughter had pneumonia, which would have gone undiagnosed if we hadn't pushed to be taken seriously. This, combined with issues at other Banner facilities, has pushed us to make the decision to receive care at literally any other facility. You are not treated like a human at Banner, but rather an inconvenience and a number. This is systemic through all Banner facilities we have been to. I would give zero stars if I could. Shame on you, Banner.
