I just saw Dr. Mattick for my baby boy, Tigger. I was concerned for my kitty because he has been acting strange, lethargic, and has been hiding (very unlike this outgoing boy's typical orange cat behavior.) I can't say enough good things about this place. I had just taken him to a VCA a few days ago thinking this was an emergency matter, and $700 later all they did was take a thoracic x-ray and tell me they weren't qualified to properly read it. They stated he "might have asthma, but we don't know." They then proceeded to tell me I'd have to pay an extra $250 just to get someone qualified to read it. *sigh* NOT HERE! I've got to share...My son asked me to watch his dog for 2 weeks. He chewed up a toy and half of it went missing. I called Dr. Bashaw and she advised me to bring him in right away.. They took him immediately to the back room and 10 minutes later everyone, including my sons dog came out with happy faces. Thank you Dr. Bashaw for saving my son's dog and my relationship with my son!
Dr. Bashaw just saved my dog's life! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm forever indebted. I called at 5:00 p.m and they were booked back to back and getting ready to close. I told her that my son's dog, which I was dogsitting, chewed up and swallowed a ball and another rubber toy, while I was cooking. I was not paying attention and left the toys outside. Dr. Bashaw was kind enough to tell me to bring him in, immediately!! She did her MAGIC and Cheese is resting comfortably. Dr. Bashaw's loyalty to animals, her kindness, and caring saved my son's dog's life.
