The instructors and educators here are passionate. Passionate about teaching and passionate about learning. I do not feel any regret about going to that first class. Seriously, you gotta try it.
I had the opportunity to train under Master Sifu Matthew Banks and his array of instructors and it was one of the greatest privileges of my life. I first joined this sacred temple in attempts to learn more about myself. Learn and grow I did.The instructors I trained under were kick a*** Like rip your head off make it look easy. The one who honed my basic skills was Laoshi Harrison. To have such an instructor was an honor. In my time training I would learn forms and principles that I could take to my day to day life. Principles like: breath work, root, striking, flexibility, blocking, & holds. Mind you I am not looking for a fight. But, SHOCK AND LOCK. Am I right?... read full review
I just started classes there and although it is a personal challenge, I look forward to every minute! Everyone is very professional and even other students are willing to help each other. The atmosphere in the classes is non-judgmental just as promised, and students appear to come from all walks of life. Truly a journey I am looking forward to and I highly recommend!
