I took advantage of the free self defense class. I learned so much from this class and it made me feel very empowered and confident. The environment was friendly, educational and welcoming. Everyone there was so kind. This class is the reason I will be taking more classes with them. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn, get a workout, have tons of fun and make friends!! This school year our 5 year old had his first run in with being bullied. It sounded like the wild west of a playground where it is simply impossible for adults to have eyes on all the kids. He shared that another child was tackling him and trying to hold him down. The teacher came upon the boys already tussling and was only able to report that to me. We talked with our son about getting help from an adult should happen again. The next day the boy did the same thing, but was even more physical trying to choke.
