I have been seeing Dr. Gomez for dental work over the past 4+ years now, and I am very pleased to have found such a great dentist in the remote area to which I have moved. Her professional skills are first rate and provided with a great 'chairside manner'. The office is attractive, and the staff very congenial and helpful. One couldn't ask for more.

My mouth is something of a disaster area, thanks to my spending several years in my teens and early twenties barely brushing, never flossing and scarfing down as much junk food as I possibly could. Fortunately, in Juneau I had a fantastic dentist who patiently explained to me that he didn't want to fit me with dentures for my 40th birthday, and I finally mended my ways and got things mostly patched up. But the underlying damage combined with some truly horrendous dental experiences in the past have led me to regard going to a new dentist with some dread. Unfortunately, after a year and a half down here, I found myself in need of a dentist once again, so on the recommendation of a friend I went to Kristine Gomez. Her office is in an old phone company building, but has been redone to be very light and airy and surprisingly modern - I especially liked the memory-foam chair (just the thing for a nervous patient!) and the digital x-ray camera. Everyone was very friendly, and the doctor herself had an excellent bedside manner. Plus she was quite competent, and fast - she complimented me on my hygiene, fixed the one tooth (including getting the novocaine in the right place the first time, a trick that has eluded several other dentists I've seen), took some x-rays, and that was that. I don't think I could have been in there longer than forty minutes, including the wait time at the start. I enthusiastically rebooked for a cleaning and the other filling I'll need. I'm not even sure I can express how pleased I am to have found such a good dentist out here in rural Arizona.
