“I've had several OB Dr's and Midwives over the years out of state and what I considered pretty standard women's care along with it. Moving here I was already 12 weeks pregnant and needing to establish care. Being hopeful for a Midwife I was so grateful to find this group. I met several Midwives at the Val Vista location throughout my appointments at Valley Women and all of them were above my expectation. The best care I have ever had. Every time I came for an appointment I left with more insight; I felt heard and comfortable discussing anything. I learned more about myself and pregnancy during my time at Valley Women with the Midwives than any pregnancy/women's care I've ever received before. I find myself more disappointed I haven't received care from them sooner, but I'm happy I will be moving forward. I am very grateful for the care I've received and cannot recommend the Midwife group enough. They are so wonderful and far above the rest.“

“I only get my b 12 shots here but a friend got botox to her forehead between her eyes and she said it was the best ones shes had but she doesnt live here. She was only visiting but if she lived her that's the one she would be going through. Dawn did her botox.“

“I would give 5 stars to both providers I have seen but the front desk is awful. No patient portal, not even an office email address. I completed my intake forms but didn’t print them as most modern offices have email capabilities. I was made to fill out all 16 pages again which made me have to take more time off than expected. Yesterday they asked for my insurance card which I never received this year. I have been emailing or faxing a copy from the aetna app without issues at SEVERAL other offices. They said they need the physical card. They are not welcoming, helpful or inviting, they act annoyed that you are there.“

“I have been going to Dr. Newman's office since I got pregnant with my son, who is now 10. She delivered both my kids 3 years apart and remembered delivering my son and made sure she was there for my daughter even though she was not on call. She made my birth experience with both kids absolutely memorable. Highly recommend Sunrise!“

“EDIT: Just edited my original review because my pregnancy brain wasn't doing math right haha. But anyways I'm now 38ish wks and I still love this office. ------- I switched over at 26weeks pregnant to the SWCWC Gilbert location from MomDoc and boy is it NIGHT AND DAY! I couldn't be more pleased with this office. It was easy to schedule an appointment. The front office is welcoming and clean. The front desk girls are GREAT. They actually know what they are doing and are very lovely to deal with. The sonographers (ultrasound folks) are patient and have great bedside manner. They do all of your lab work there, including glucose testing, and even have a nice separate waiting room for that. I've been seeing doctor Mayes now and she's very nice. I'm due in about 14 weeks, at banner Desert if all goes to plan. I'll update with how everything goes then! So far I'm loving this office. Oh, they also have a great patient portal, and the lady that manages billing is great. She has responded immediately to my questions and it's very easy to pay bills. The patient portal allows you to view all of your patient information from visits. Very convenient!“

“I was a patient with VWFW back in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first and using the midwifery services. They have an incredible program, Family Circle headed up by Kate Lakritz. You break up into groups of families who are due the same month and have a class once a week with wonderful guest speakers. It's a great program to meet other women going through the same journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The classes are fun, informative, and a great space to ask any and all questions. As a first time mom it was such a support to have Kate and the rest of the group to learn from. I would 10/10 recommended joining if you're a current OB or midwife patient! Even now 3 years later we keep in touch with Kate and some of the parents from the group!“

“Had the absolute best experience here the other day. I was extremely nervous since it had been a few years...From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted and spoken to with nothing but pure kindness and respect. (I am very heavily tattooed and pierced and unfortunately do not receive that very often.) Everyone I encountered was wonderful, knowledged and friendly. The provider answered every question I had and was very sweet and comforting. The office itself is exceptionally clean and the appointment (scheduled online) was very simple.

Front desk staff:
They were so sweet and welcoming. Their communication was excellent, making the scheduling and check-in/check-out process very easy. They left a great first impression of the clinic with their beautiful smiles and utmost kindness.

They made me feel like we had been best friends for years. They were professional, and explained things thoroughly. They ensured I felt comfortable enough to ask questions, and took the time to answer them thoroughly. We joked together, we laughed together, you all truly turned what could have been a scary and stressful time in my life into such a genuinely delightful experience.
Dr. Mayer:
The ultimate girls-girl. Her bubbly, kind, fun, and compassionate personality immediately made me feel safe and cared for. She was professional and thorough in her explanations, and her bedside manner instilled confidence, making me feel truly understood and supported throughout my visit. She assured me that she would be by my side during this difficult situation and would always be there if I needed her. I left knowing she had my absolute best interests in mind.
The amount of reassurance, kindness, and care I received was truly beyond anything I could have imagined. I felt completely supported and at ease every step of the way.
