“Calvin is great, walked in and he was able to squeeze me in before his next appointment on the spot. Gave an EXCELLENT skin fade with a hard part and didn't need to ask me a bunch of questions, he's obviously a man of his craft, told him what I wanted and he used his trained eye and gave me the exact cut I needed and wanted.

I've been to the Barbershop a few times over the years whenever visiting family in the valley and while I've used the same barber for a couple decades now back home Indiana, whenever I'm in need of a quality cut and I'm in the area, this is where I always go.

No frills and gimmicks, no hot towels and neck massages or piles of products I "need" to buy, just a high quality barbershop with guys that excel at their trade.

“The cuts are great! They know me by face well enough where they never ask what I want. I give them four stars for that, but don't let these other reviews fool you with "no wait times". On weekdays, you better be there before 5:30, and on a Saturday you better be there before 1:30 to guarantee a cut. They lock the doors early because they get the waiting chairs filled. If you walk in and see families of kids in there, don't think you will be leaving in half hour... every one of those kids is getting cut. There's no appointments from what I am aware of. Great cuts and service, but that is when it's your turn... there are wait times.“

“The shop I was going to closed down so I needed a new place, I have been to V’s before but at another location. They looked about the same but the pool table at the one on 54th and Ray is a nice touch. My cut came out exactly as expected if not better. I have been getting a hair cut once a week for about a year now. I like the clean feeling. I definitely recommend this shop and will for sure be back myself.
