I stayed with this office longer than I should have because I didn't want to make the time to find a kinder care provider. After being shamed about gaining 10 pounds post-surgery, I'd had enough. My BMI is normal even if my pants are a bit more snug. If you feel your provider isn't properly caring for you, leave. It's the best choice I made.

*****AVOID Dr Ashar and her office at any cost****

I am deeply disappointed with the care and professionalism of Dr. Asher’s office over the past four years. It has become increasingly clear that my husband was treated more as a source of income than a valued patient. The lack of compassion and focus on patient health at this office is alarming.

Dr. Ashar is clearly a doctor who gets kickbacks for prescribing drugs like adderall, but ask her to actually figure out what’s wrong with your health and she won’t do it. I was obese when I turned 30 years old and then something happened in my body and I started rapidly losing weight without trying, about 10-12 pounds a month because my body wouldn’t allow me to eat. I started dealing with hormonal acne that was never there before, and losing large amounts of hair. This lasted for about a little over a year and I never got any answers as to what was really happening to me.
