I love this place! Just moving to the area and took my new kitty in for a check up and shots. They are so friendly and knowledgeable! I will be bringing all my kitties there in the future.

Recently had to take our Senior Golden in for a pretty bad ear infection. When I made her appointment to see the Vet., I was given a break down cost of what to expect (I asked for cost estimate). The clinic is Clean and the staff is very capable. We were given an exam room within 5-10 min. Dr. Sara came in to see us. She was very gentle with our girl's tender inflamed ear. She took the time to talk to us, find out what was going on and how she would proceed. A quick Q-tip swab of the ear was taken, and then to the backroom for a culture. Dr Sara came back with results and again explained how she thought we should treat the infection. We were notified that the procedure could take additional treatments to get all of the infection. (inflamed, drainage, smell). While the patient's ear was being cleaned and treated, a vet assistant came back into our exam room and let us know the procedure, and again broke down the cost for our approval. We were on our way home within 30-40 minutes from the start of our appointment. Cost $212 (office visit, cytology, clean & flush ears, EKT with tobramycin, 2 antibiotics to take home: prednisone & ciprofoxacin & annual rabies shot). By the next morning - Our girl was wagging her tail and wanting to play. The drainage and odor was gone and the ear was normal flesh color. I'm Thrilled! We do have to go back for a follow up next week, but I'm told there is no office visit fee, just a quick culture/exam to confirm infection is gone ($35). The staff is very capable. Dr Sara was wonderful with our precious girl. The hours aren't very convenient for people working 8-5, but they do have longer hours (7:30pm) on Tues/Thurs. I think that they discourage 'walk-ins' unless an Emergency. I don't think this is any different from your people doctor's schedule. The scheduled appointments allow control of the wait time, exam rooms and patient care. The price is uncomfortable, but only because it was an unexpected expense on my part. The clinic is closed on Sat/Sun, which means you have to schedule your appointments during the week and schedule around your work hours. This is no different than what I have to do when making appointments for my own medical treatments. We will continue to use Vilonia Animal Clinic as our Primary Medical Facility for our four legged family members. They receive excellent medical treatment there - thank you.
