Trustworthiness and integrity is a key quality in business. Kathi Merritt was a seller's agent for a property my family made an offer on. She and the owner lied on the sellers disclosure document about a foundation issue. Because of this lie she wasted our time and money(625$ in inspections). She also wasted her clients time by adding an additional two weeks off market while the offer was pending. Had the problem been revealed everyone's time would have been saved. There was a question on the sellers disclosure that asked specifically if there was a foundation issue. They had answered "no" despite knowing there was. Furthermore, she has refused to buy the inspections and reimburse us for half the price( 300$). She refused despite admitting knowing about the issue and not disclosing on the sellers disclosure. So despite being in the wrong and admitting it she has refused to meet my family less than halfway and buy the inspections for the offered amount of (300$).
