My husband paid over $600 (after insurance) for a new set of glasses. After several weeks of using them he finally went back and told Marilyn that he couldn't see with these glasses and actually could see better with his old pair. He was told that he just needed to hold his papers or book further away to be able to read. Unfortunately his arms are not long enough for this solution to work. The next time he needed glasses he went to a different optometry shop. They read the prescription in his glasses from Meador and it was totally different than what he was supposed to have. Here is my experience with the Meador Eye Clinic. I'm 48 and have been wearing prescription glasses since my 20s. I finally got to a point where I was having difficulty reading my computer at work. I knew I probably needed bifocals because I would also have to take off my glasses to read at night while trying to fall asleep. Went to Meador for the first time in late Oct. 2016. I had recently moved and their clinic was just down the street. I got an examination and told them of my concerns about the computer as well as reading books.
