I paid Meghan around $2,800.00 to do my personal tax returns. Two years ago. Still haven’t gotten my returns. Then the irs reached out to me asking me for more forms and questions, I’m guessing because my tax returns weren’t done properly. I then called her and explained my issue. To which she offered no help at all and left me to fend for myself. Very bad experience.Don’t get me started on my businesses tax returns. They were charging me $450 a month to handle accounting. I do not recommend this business at all. I am a small business who, as of this writing, is still trying to get them to complete my filing. Both my bookkeeper and myself have provided them with all necessary information on multiple occasions. At this point I have had to call, email and stop in person throughout the year to give them information they had already been sent. They have gone from "as soon as we have this, it will be done", to vague timelines like "in the next two weeks" to "its in review" (for months apparently). If you’re looking for a new CPA, look elsewhere. Especially if you’re a small business that needs help understanding the tax preparation process. Meghan didn’t have the patience to work with me and was obviously annoyed when I asked questions. I feel like if you’re going to be in the profession of taxes, you really do need some sort of customer service/patience for explaining, but I did not receive that. There’s better options out there to support!
