I am a caregiver with Home Instead. I have been with them for a year now and I love it. They are a great company to work for. They do whatever they can to make sure your schedule fits your needs. They are also very understanding. As a single parent, I need that in my employer. They get it, that sometimes things happen, and they're always there to work with me. I love all of my clients too. They are the reason I love being a caregiver so much. I would highly recommend working for Home Instead of your are interested in becoming a caregiver!
We have used Home Instead for the last nine months to care for a friend with dementia. We have been impressed with the weekend caregivers who provide excellent care, engage with the client and go the extra mile! This is one of three agencies who provide 24 hour care and Home Instead is terrific. Any time a problem arises, the supervisor, Shauna, immediately calls, addresses it and follows up. She does home visits often and has created a nice relationship with the client and caregivers. This positive communication is in part why Home Instead is effective. I have been working for home instead for almost two weeks. I love every minute of my job. I have five clients, and love each one of them already. I couldn't be happier. Thanks to amazing office staff and Hailey for adjusting to my crazy schedule. I work two jobs, and it breaks my heart if I have to decline an opening. When I do a job, I give 100%. Plus some.
