I contacted Mike Carroll about a large oak tree in my backyard which was next to my deck and rather close to my house. A recent thunderstorm had caused some of the tree branches to fall on my house, causing some gutter damage; I had also noticed a number of dead limbs in the upper levels of the tree. Mike and his wife Rachel came out promptly at the agreed upon time, and Mike examined the tree and told me that it was severely infected with canker. He told me that the tree was not salvageable and would need to be taken down before it came down on its own (likely on my house.) We recently moved into a house with a couple big beautiful oak trees in the yard. Mike and his wife, Rachael, came out and gave us a free estimate and then scheduled us for trimming. At the time, they told us they were booked a month out. However, Mike called about 3 weeks later and told us he and his crew could come out that day. We love when a company under promises and over delivers! Mike and his crew were at our home within the next couple hours. We had a blow over elm pushing against a pine with a cracked trunk next to our house that was threatening to come down. Mike responded in a very timely manner and with his crew came out and took down the pine as well as another pine with a damaged trunk and a couple of other trees that were marginal. Very professional and hard working group that worked quickly and left the property in very nice condition. Thanks!
