There are so many amazing things I could say about The Salon, but I’ll stick to the basics. For those just looking for the facts, Hannah has been doing my hair for years and has recently started doing my preteen daughters hair as well. I’ll tell you one thing, styling a preteen is not for the faint of heart and Hannah handles it like a champ! She’s professional, experienced, and affordable. She has two other amazing stylists who work alongside her. They are always super friendly and helpful and I’ve seen their work as well and it’s just as impeccable. The Salon is very welcoming and nicely decorated, and above all, clean. You won’t be disappointed. Now for those who want to know more than just the minimal facts: When you first enter The Salon, you’re greeted with a smile from all of the stylists. The Salon is decorated in a boho chic vibe with lots of plants, earth tones, and natural wood giving it a very aesthetically welcoming vibe. It’s so appropriate for the very down to earth owner, Hannah. When you meet Hannah, the first thing you’ll notice is her contagious upbeat personality. It doesn’t matter what kind of mood you’re in, I promise when you leave you’ll feel a thousand times more positive and lighter. I don’t know how someone can be so full of energy and yet so calming, but this lady achieves this with ease. She is also an empath who will not only listen to your highs and lows, but understands you and bless her heart she feels for you. I promise your stories will resonate with her to the point of her even including you in her nightly prayers. That’s just the way she is. The moment you walk through that door, you’ve become her extended family. She takes the time to make connections with each and every single one of her clients and goes above and beyond to make sure they leave her chair feeling more confident than ever and like they have a friend in their corner, because with her, you really do. Hannah is meticulous. She’s not going to let you leave unhappy. She makes sure to do not just what you ask, (now this is important) but what your hair is capable of without causing permanent damage. She knows just by the feel of your hair, the tone of your hair, your complexion, etc. which colors will compliment you the most and how far she can lift you before too much damage will occur. She takes pride in her work so she’ll do everything she can to keep you singing her praises when someone asks who did your hair. She doesn’t want you walking around like a hot mess saying she did your hair! She has a reputation to uphold after-all. I’ve gotten to the point with her now that I can just tell her I need a change and she can magically read my mind and create the most beautiful concoctions that turn heads for weeks after my appointment. I swear she has magic within her fingertips! My favorite thing about visiting The Salon is supporting another female. Hannah is driven. I’ve watched her business grow over the last several years and I’ve seen her passion intensify, not just for the craft she so lovingly pursues, but also the people. She will work hard for you, but she also works hard for herself and her family, which is something I admire. She’s always trying new things and expanding on her knowledge of the industry. She’s never settling for less and is always learning new skills. It’s so nice to see a fellow female being brave, pursuing her dreams, and taking an entrepreneurial stand in the world.
