Just visited this barber shop for the first time today and I’m glad I did. We followed Michael, from the vintage barber shop in vestavia, and I am so happy I found him. He is the only one that cuts my little guy’s curly hair correctly. He listens to what I want and don’t want and is very patient. The ambiance is a little lacking but I’m ok with it for a good haircut. We will be back.

I’d travel a great distance to come visit this great place took me awhile to find a place who can do beards well and no one can give a haircut and beard shape up like Michael can. Everyone in there is so nice and it’s a very relaxing atmosphere I really enjoyed my time there just wish I could give it a 6 star rating!

Not many people around the South know how to handle Asian hair, and this is one of the reasons my friends and I come here. Sun can cut all types of hair as far as I know and also offers perms and "magic hair straightening". It's fairly easy to set up appointments and my recommendation was to always set up one on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately that plan backfired on me during my last visit, when an elderly man came in for a walk-in halfway during my haircut. It's human nature to rush a little when someone else is waiting. Overall, I loved my haircut and highly recommend her!
