“I meant Miss Lucy on a whim. I'm a guy, I'm losing my hair, there's no need for me to go to somebody who knows what they're doing, I can let anybody use a weed eater, but I ran into her by chance and I can't speak on the haircuts but I see many of her views that are five stars that could speak on that and did. But I can speak to is Miss Lucy. Have you ever met anybody and within 10 seconds you felt like you could identify them during their personality and through their character. I don't know if I meant a kinder person. I can tell you this, currently it's about lunch time and I can tell you she's the highlight of my day. Her personality was really caring and you can tell she was a carrying individual. She was the first one to get there and I'm sure she'll be the last one to leave and if she's not, she'll go by and check on that store before she goes to bed. She was dressed really well. She carried herself well from the time she got out of her vehicle when I saw her she had nothing but a smile on her face and she was ready to begin her day and the character that she showed from the moment I met her until the time I departed, I can tell you I'm going to strive to be a little bit better today because that was a motivation for me seeing her smile. So I can't speak on the haircuts but you can read the reviews and see that she's probably the only salons stylist to go to if you want a good job... But I can speak on her demeanor and her character and if I was out looking for a haircut, somebody could do an amazing job but if they had a bad attitude I probably still wouldn't go. I would go see Ms Lucy because if she can make me feel the way that she did and 30 seconds, I can't imagine what a haircut time frame would be.
Ms. Lucy, you were absolutely a pleasure to get to meet and I'm very grateful for not only how you dealt with me but I'm also grateful that I've left from you and it's been an hour that I've gone from you and I'll probably never talk to you again and yet an hour later I'm still thinking about what I can do for my character to form to your character and what I can do to be a better individual for the next man in line and when you can make an impact on someone within just a few moments, I think I call that success.. thank you for being the highlight of the day and thank you for doing what you do for the community. I know that sounds odd but can you imagine if no one got a haircut. Could you imagine if everyone got a haircut but yet no one desired to be in that kind of business because I can tell you, her whole business is all about people and as you know, that's an issue sometimes lol. It takes a tough individual it takes someone strong willed and passionate and caring and take somebody that is more dedicated and more passionate more caring than they are impatient and rude and I can tell you I'm the opposite because I don't have the patience and so Ms Lucy is built for the job she's in You know the Bible says that are talents will make a way for us. School is great, it's a good thing to do but the Bible doesn't say your school is going to find a way for you. It says you're talents. Something that you're naturally good at without trying way too hard, this is why Ms Lucy is a success. Our attitude, or determination, her character, and her passion for people.

“Jim is fantastic! He's very professional, kind, meticulous with his craft and just a joy to be around and talk to. When I first moved back to Birmingham 2.5 years ago, I initially could not find anyone who could do the Japanese Straightening treatment on my hair that I had had done in Chicago. Then I found Jim's salon. He has been specially trained to do this particular hair treatment and he may be one of the only ones in the area to offer it. This treatment is different than Keratin treatments, as well as the Brazilian blowout. The Japanese Straightening is a permanent straightening treatment, that lasts until the hair grows out. For someone like myself who has very thick, long hair, that is partially frizzy and curly, I have found this treatment to be a life changer, especially since I'm a working mom with 4 young children. Normally, I never wear my hair down because it just looks so "big", but with this treatment, I can wash it at night, let it dry overnight, and then blow dry it for less than 2 minutes and it's silky smooth. I don't even have to run the straightener thorough it, but if I want it to be extra sleek and straight, it takes only a couple of minutes. I wish I had discovered this treatment back in my 20s! She recommended which braids would be best for my hair at this time instead of what I originally wanted because the hair would've been too heavy for my texture right now. “One of the greatest places that I've been lately. I not utilized this place for the intended purpose I guess you could say. This is a haircutting studio salon and although I do need a haircut, that day that I went in here I'd actually just been going in anywhere that was opened. I'd run into some issues with trying to get gas as unfortunate as that sounds, and not to go into great detail but if you do not have your hot copy of your license, don't plan on getting into your own banking account even if that means that you went to get a new license and you only had the paper copy till they mailed you a hard copy, you'll just have to wait the 3 weeks I reckon to get the hard copy before you can utilize your checking account, even to the point of getting gas lol. So I walked in here and just asked if there was any extra work. I only walked in because they were opened and the worst they could say is no, and out of four and a half hours of doing this, studio A was the only place that said YES!!
The nicest group of ladies that one could possibly meet. They were extremely personable as if I wasn't somebody that they didn't know but that they knew for years and it was really shocking, very very pleasant and heartwarming. And another kicker, even the customers that came in, exact same personalities, found out one of the customers was getting married that day, and I wound up getting her whole back story lol. A heartwarming group of ladies and so whoever is the owner, first let me say thank you for letting me wash your windows I'm not a window washer, secondly, when you've got a team of ladies around you with those type of personalities that make me feel like that, no wonder you're successful. No wonder your business is thriving is because when you've got somebody, in this case three or four different ladies, y'all have the same goal of creating an atmosphere that is not only easy to be in, but then you got the personalities that match what it takes in order to be a people person and that's exactly what you ladies are. Very grateful for The opportunity to walk in here. I'm also very grateful of the hospitality that you showed and the kindness that you showed towards me. I got very lucky that day and I'm beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to meet you. Next time I come in I hope it's under a different circumstances although I don't have the hair it takes to warrant paying more than a dollar to get a haircut, lol but I'm going to make an appointment to stop in and say hey if I'm ever in that area. What a fantastic group you guys are and I'm very very grateful for you.

Every customer in here came out looking like a Barbie doll They were amazing and I was blown away by the work that these people could do on hair! Always just kind of thought you took a clippers and ran around like you were cutting them yard and in fact it's a art and I got to see that first hand. “Terry was closed during the manadory shutdown, but once able to reopen, he took every precaution to assure complete cleanliness, social distancing of clients, and mask wearing. I hesitated to even go to a salon once they re-opened as I am in the \\\"older group\\\" but Terry's precautions made me feel safe. “I came by and although Google says they're open right now and open till 7:00, they're not open The door's locked and as a matter of fact everybody in that little shopping center, I think there's four stores and everybody in those four stores, nobody's in the parking lot every one of them says open on Google but every one of them is closed So unfortunately, Google has it wrong so to the owner I wanted to make a review here so that you could see that you need to either update your hours of operation because see I'm 3 hours away from home and not that I came here for that but I did have to go to four different places because although Google says all four of them are open they are in fact closed so, just thought I'd throw that out there. Hope you guys are doing well. If you have gone to maybe some summer hours, our updated your hours, one of the biggest things that you can do is not be accurate on Google because nowadays as you know if I've never been to Texas I'm going to find out by using Google where is kid-friendly and who has the best restaurants and instead of calling the restaurants themselves I'm not going to do that cuz humans don't do that, I'm going to get online so the best thing to do is to be accurate online for sure.
