I came by and although Google says they're open right now and open till 7:00, they're not open The door's locked and as a matter of fact everybody in that little shopping center, I think there's four stores and everybody in those four stores, nobody's in the parking lot every one of them says open on Google but every one of them is closed So unfortunately, Google has it wrong so to the owner I wanted to make a review here so that you could see that you need to either update your hours of operation because see I'm 3 hours away from home and not that I came here for that but I did have to go to four different places because although Google says all four of them are open they are in fact closed so, just thought I'd throw that out there. Hope you guys are doing well. If you have gone to maybe some summer hours, our updated your hours, one of the biggest things that you can do is not be accurate on Google because nowadays as you know if I've never been to Texas I'm going to find out by using Google where is kid-friendly and who has the best restaurants and instead of calling the restaurants themselves I'm not going to do that cuz humans don't do that, I'm going to get online so the best thing to do is to be accurate online for sure. Anyway I just kind of wanted to give you an update maybe to update those things. Hope you're having a great week so far, Friday is a good day it just feels different lol Hope you are doing well

There are not words to describe how thankful my husband and I are to have had Sandra in our corner. I meant Miss Lucy on a whim. I'm a guy, I'm losing my hair, there's no need for me to go to somebody who knows what they're doing, I can let anybody use a weed eater, but I ran into her by chance and I can't speak on the haircuts but I see many of her views that are five stars that could speak on that and did. But I can speak to is Miss Lucy. Have you ever met anybody and within 10 seconds you felt like you could identify them during their personality and through their character. I don't know if I meant a kinder person. I can tell you this, currently it's about lunch time and I can tell you she's the highlight of my day. Her personality was really caring and you can tell she was a carrying individual. She was the first one to get there and I'm sure she'll be the last one to leave and if she's not, she'll go by and check on that store before she goes to bed. She was dressed really well. She carried herself well from the time she got out of her vehicle when I saw her she had nothing but a smile on her face and she was ready to begin her day and the character that she showed from the moment I met her until the time I departed, I can tell you I'm going to strive to be a little bit better today because that was a motivation for me seeing her smile. So I can't speak on the haircuts but you can read the reviews and see that she's probably the only salons stylist to go to if you want a good job... But I can speak on her demeanor and her character and if I was out looking for a haircut, somebody could do an amazing job but if they had a bad attitude I probably still wouldn't go. I would go see Ms Lucy because if she can make me feel the way that she did and 30 seconds, I can't imagine what a haircut time frame would be.
Ms. Lucy, you were absolutely a pleasure to get to meet and I'm very grateful for not only how you dealt with me but I'm also grateful that I've left from you and it's been an hour that I've gone from you and I'll probably never talk to you again and yet an hour later I'm still thinking about what I can do for my character to form to your character and what I can do to be a better individual for the next man in line and when you can make an impact on someone within just a few moments, I think I call that success.. thank you for being the highlight of the day and thank you for doing what you do for the community. I know that sounds odd but can you imagine if no one got a haircut. Could you imagine if everyone got a haircut but yet no one desired to be in that kind of business because I can tell you, her whole business is all about people and as you know, that's an issue sometimes lol. It takes a tough individual it takes someone strong willed and passionate and caring and take somebody that is more dedicated and more passionate more caring than they are impatient and rude and I can tell you I'm the opposite because I don't have the patience and so Ms Lucy is built for the job she's in You know the Bible says that are talents will make a way for us. School is great, it's a good thing to do but the Bible doesn't say your school is going to find a way for you. It says you're talents. Something that you're naturally good at without trying way too hard, this is why Ms Lucy is a success. Our attitude, or determination, her character, and her passion for people.

Jim is fantastic! He's very professional, kind, meticulous with his craft and just a joy to be around and talk to. When I first moved back to Birmingham 2.5 years ago, I initially could not find anyone who could do the Japanese Straightening treatment on my hair that I had had done in Chicago. Then I found Jim's salon. He has been specially trained to do this particular hair treatment and he may be one of the only ones in the area to offer it. This treatment is different than Keratin treatments, as well as the Brazilian blowout. The Japanese Straightening is a permanent straightening treatment, that lasts until the hair grows out. For someone like myself who has very thick, long hair, that is partially frizzy and curly, I have found this treatment to be a life changer, especially since I'm a working mom with 4 young children. Normally, I never wear my hair down because it just looks so "big", but with this treatment, I can wash it at night, let it dry overnight, and then blow dry it for less than 2 minutes and it's silky smooth. I don't even have to run the straightener thorough it, but if I want it to be extra sleek and straight, it takes only a couple of minutes. I wish I had discovered this treatment back in my 20s! If this is a treatment you are considering, I highly recommend you check out Jim Ostrosky's Salon! He will set you up with a consultation first to make sure your hair will work well with the treatment. I can't recommend this treatment enough!
Haja did an excellent job with my braids! She's very nice and personable. She recommended which braids would be best for my hair at this time instead of what I originally wanted because the hair would've been too heavy for my texture right now. I will definitely be going back to her when these get old.
One of the greatest places that I've been lately. I not utilized this place for the intended purpose I guess you could say. This is a haircutting studio salon and although I do need a haircut, that day that I went in here I'd actually just been going in anywhere that was opened. I'd run into some issues with trying to get gas as unfortunate as that sounds, and not to go into great detail but if you do not have your hot copy of your license, don't plan on getting into your own banking account even if that means that you went to get a new license and you only had the paper copy till they mailed you a hard copy, you'll just have to wait the 3 weeks I reckon to get the hard copy before you can utilize your checking account, even to the point of getting gas lol. So I walked in here and just asked if there was any extra work. I only walked in because they were opened and the worst they could say is no, and out of four and a half hours of doing this, studio A was the only place that said YES!!
The nicest group of ladies that one could possibly meet. They were extremely personable as if I wasn't somebody that they didn't know but that they knew for years and it was really shocking, very very pleasant and heartwarming. And another kicker, even the customers that came in, exact same personalities, found out one of the customers was getting married that day, and I wound up getting her whole back story lol. A heartwarming group of ladies and so whoever is the owner, first let me say thank you for letting me wash your windows I'm not a window washer, secondly, when you've got a team of ladies around you with those type of personalities that make me feel like that, no wonder you're successful. No wonder your business is thriving is because when you've got somebody, in this case three or four different ladies, y'all have the same goal of creating an atmosphere that is not only easy to be in, but then you got the personalities that match what it takes in order to be a people person and that's exactly what you ladies are. Very grateful for The opportunity to walk in here. I'm also very grateful of the hospitality that you showed and the kindness that you showed towards me. I got very lucky that day and I'm beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to meet you. Next time I come in I hope it's under a different circumstances although I don't have the hair it takes to warrant paying more than a dollar to get a haircut, lol but I'm going to make an appointment to stop in and say hey if I'm ever in that area. What a fantastic group you guys are and I'm very very grateful for you.
Every customer in here came out looking like a Barbie doll They were amazing and I was blown away by the work that these people could do on hair! Always just kind of thought you took a clippers and ran around like you were cutting them yard and in fact it's a art and I got to see that first hand. It was my first time getting lashes and I was nervous but Ms Jodie was so calming and reassuring. And I love that she didn't pressure me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. And helped me find an attractive color for my gel nails without it being too flashy.

Last min walk-in for mani pedi. Did not know they were 5 mins from their closing business hour for the evening. Did not find out until leaving. Alea was absolutely phenomenal. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my lashes! I did classic wispy lashes and they feel very secure. I followed the guidelines no water on my lashes for twelve hours and a couple days after I went to the lake and not a single lash came off. Sturdy!
Terry was closed during the manadory shutdown, but once able to reopen, he took every precaution to assure complete cleanliness, social distancing of clients, and mask wearing. I hesitated to even go to a salon once they re-opened as I am in the \\\"older group\\\" but Terry's precautions made me feel safe. He meets his clients at the door, allows only one client inside at a time, and he and his staff wear masks. I appreciate all the trouble Terry has gone thru to make it as safe as possible to FINALLY get a hair cut!! Thank you Terry. You are the BEST!

Amazing manicures! I've been using Vestavia Nails for a few years now and have not been disappointed. They never rush through the manicures or pedicures, even when I bring my daughter with me to get her nails and toes done! Several other local salons we've tried have been terrible with kids. Getting frustrated, rolling their eyes, etc, but not here!! So friendly and so professional.

The whole process was great. Other than spending the money! Justin made the diagnosis Ben made the sale Jamey, Alex and Austin installed the unit and Loren did some follow up work. There was not a slacker in the bunch. Jamie, Alex and Austin worked all day and into the night to make sure that we had air conditioning before the holidays. Loren was able to figure out and spent a lot of time fixing our second air conditioner right after the holidays I would give them all five stars. all were extremely pleasant to work with and Personable.

In my opinion, Hank Wegener is the best plumber in the area. He arrives when he says he will arrive, fixes problems, and charges reasonable rates. While he will advise on other things that may need to be addressed, he doesn't try to turn a $150 leak into a $2000 water heater replacement. Not only did Hank promptly fix the problems we had, he also took the time to clean up the area (even though he did not make the mess) and allow me to run a cycle of clothes in the washing machine to verify the problem was fixed. I highly recommend using his service.

I have been very pleased with my experience here! In the past, I have never liked the dentist, but everyone here is very gentle and communicative. I have seen Dental Assistants Aarika and Morgan and they have been absolutely wonderful and have made my experience so great! Dr. Paul Barganier is very professional and personable. Although we had problems with my crown and it not fitting because of the lab, he was sure to make it work and never charged me for the additional visits. The front desk women are also very kind and professional. Couldn't recommend this place more!

The absolute BEST vet & person I've ever known! I will never trust anyone else with my animals like I do with Dr. Kris. She is easily accessible and will talk you through whatever is going on with your pet at any time. She talked me through my dog's bloodwork and explained what all of the different levels meant, and she gave recommendations on how to care for my senior dog and how to best support her quality of life. We planned a last-minute trip and needed to board our six dogs, including two who have extreme anxiety and one elderly, arthritic Great Dane with significant medical conditions. I spoke with Krystal to schedule the boarding. She was very attentive and listened to my concerns. She made notes on their charts during the call so that the day of boarding would go smoothly. Choosing Rocky Ridge Animal Clinic to care for our dogs turned out to be a fantastic decision.The staff at Rocky Ridge Animal Clinic went above and beyond to ensure our dogs were comfortable and well-cared-for. Despite the challenges posed by our dogs' varying needs, they handled everything with professionalism and care. I first met Dr. Dieguez a few years ago when we adopted our sweet Corgi, Banjo, from him. Dr. Dieguez is a wonderful veterinarian who truly loves animals. His veterinarian clinic and pet hotel are exceptionally run and staffed by caring, knowledgeable people who provide excellent care for our four-legged babies.One of our main concerns was prior separation anxiety experienced by two of our dogs when we boarded them previously, but the clinic staff made us feel at ease with regular updates and even sent pictures during the week. This thoughtful gesture reassured us that our furry family members were in good hands.What truly impressed us was the attention to detail. Our oldest Great Dane usually experiences stiffness and difficulty walking after boarding at other facilities, but this time he was in perfect condition. He did a little happy jog when we arrived to pick him up. It was such a blessing to see him run and look so happy instead of the usual state of being unable to get his back legs under him to walk and have to be carried to the car. It's evident that the clinic took the time to exercise him regularly, preventing any mobility issues.Moreover, when our dogs ran out of the treats we provided, they went the extra mile to find out where we bought them and then went and purchased more to give to them. Excellent massage experience! Staff was friendly and helpful in selecting the type massage best for my tight aching muscles. The massage therapist was knowledgeable about anatomy, focusing on my problem areas, and utilizing stretching techniques that really complemented the massage. I left feeling especially relaxed and reenergized. The price was very reasonable for the quality massage I received. Will definitely be returning!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a massage at the new location for Remedy. Liz was kind enough to give me detailed directions and met me at the front door. Very professional and knowledgeable. She always listens when I describe the areas that may need a little extra attention, and she will customizes the massage to meet my needs for that day. The room is spacious and has a relaxing calm vibe. Liz does a great job making the entire visit a healing experience.After a massage with Liz, I always walk out feeling refreshed and energized.

I had my first experience today and I must say they did not disappoint… Joy gave me a massage that had me feeling like I was given a new body. It was just amazing. From the time I walked in the door the customer service was great. And my massage left me feeling completely rejuvenated. So thank you…. I will definitely return… Mrs. Joy did not come to play. She was given a task and did amazingly. Definitely book with her if you want to feel rejuvenated.

I have been struggling with urinary incontinence since I gave birth in 2017. I had a hysterectomy due to uterine prolapse but my pelvic floor never recovered.3-4 months ago my gym partner Shay told me to check out Thrive PT due to my insecurities in the gym. She hooked me up with an apt with Leah and I have never more grateful. I’m noticing a big difference with just 4-5 visits. I’m not a self conscious person but I have never felt uncomfortable at Thrive and I look forward to my appointments. Not to mention the clean environment and friendly staff :)
I can’t say enough good things about this team. They worked with my son diligently for a few weeks and got him back to full health after over a year of pain. I would highly recommend them.
