Their dedicated team goes above and beyond to resolve unique issues, searching for the right parts and working diligently to get things operating despite unusual designs. While they have occasionally failed to meet appointments, leaving some customers unimpressed, it's clear they strive to make things right by apologizing and offering discounts. On the other hand, their quick and excellent work on sewer repair jobs has earned them the gratitude and loyalty of many customers. The plumbers from Hicks Plumbing spent several hours at one customer's house, determined the issue, and successfully repaired it. However, the company's billing practices raised concerns, as they requested payment before the customer received an invoice, which is not standard procedure. In contrast, another customer praised the company's honesty, great service, and reasonable pricing when they resolved a major sewer line problem just before a graduation party. Unfortunately, one customer reported a poor experience, as no one showed up for a scheduled appointment, and the company was unresponsive when the customer followed up.
The 2 plumbers spent several hours at my house determining what was going on, but did finally find the issue and repaired it.
Instead of sending an invoice, Hicks called me within a few days and asked for payment before I had even received an invoice. I complied, but I’m not sure why I was not allowed 30 days for payment, which is standard procedure as far as I’m aware.
And then received an invoice several days later. It did not state that it had already been paid.
Greg Hicks and his crew saved me and my family in a big way. Had a main sewer line problem just prior to U of A grad weekend. Had another company come out prior and the job was not completed. We were in a bad spot prior to our grad party. He came out in no time and fixed the issue. Honest, great service at a reasonable price. Thank you sir.
I cannot say enough kind things about this business. I had a tub that would not drain no matter what we tried. We called Hick’s and they came out a few days later to take a look at it. They determined it was the design of the tub that made it hard to drain (and some installer error on our builders part), but instead of recommending that we get a new tub they searched high and low for the parts to fix it. They had no luck finding the parts because the tub was such an odd design, but they didn’t give up. They found a way to make it work and they diligently worked get it operating for us. They apologized for how long it too and offered us a discount but I was so impressed...read full review
