I have been taking my petite shih-tzu to A Dog House Grooming (a.k.a. Jonathan's) for about three years now. I have had shih-tzus for more than 15 years and have tried a lot of groomers because we have moved so many times. This is the first groomer where my dog has gotten a consistently beautiful cut every time. I can walk in, tell them to do it like last time, and she looks just as good as she did during her last grooming. When I pick her up, she looks great and is in a good mood, which is another sign that the staff is good to her. I like the fact you can walk in Mon-Thurs without an appointment, which is very convenient for my busy schedule. I haven't tried... read full review

They did a fantastic job grooming my very shaggy small dog and it being only $30. The only thing is, it's weird. Something just seemed off. They don't accept credit card, lots of hand written signs, and not forthcoming with information. I didn't ask so I was not informed of anything. I read the signs and knew they would call me when he was ready. They asked me if I was a new client. They gathered my information and took my dog to the back. They also made it seem like they don't use clippers? I told them what guard I wanted it on and I can't remember what they said exactly but it was neither informative or helpful.
