I purchase carpet from The Home Depot in Montgomery Al on Nov 6, 2021 to carpet my greatroom, all 3 bedrooms and a hallway. I was advised by the Home Depot the carpet should be in the warehouse within 2 weeks and be installed by Thanksgiving. They contract with Romanoff Renovations to install the carpet. Got an email right away from Romanoff explaining the process. They advised I would get a phone call from them to set up the earliest installation date. Never happened. Romanoff sent me emails with video explaining how to prepare my home for the installation, had to removed all knickknacks, mirrors and pictures from the wall, all bedding from the beds, empty drawers, disconnect... read full review

I had Romanoff install floors at my residence trough Home Depot. Let me start by saying it was a nightmare. Stay away from this Co. The installer was unreliable and unprofessional. A job that they were going to start on Monday and finish on Thursday, started actually on Thursday. The installer was totally unprepared when he arrived to my home. Now this people knew about this job for months, the contract was in place since August and now in December they come unprepared. First day he said he had not the tools needed, Tuesday he did not show, Wednesday he broke the tool and left. Thursday finished poorly one room out of five. Romanoff installed our carpet in the family room. The two guys did an amazing job! The scheduled install window was between 1pm- 4pm, they arrived at 12:56pm, wonderful! They introduced themselves and got started right away. They asked me to come and look at the rolled carpet and the pad, to be sure it's exactly what I ordered. They didn't mess around. They cleaned up as they were working and when the installation was completed. (Swept & Vacuumed). Additionally, I have a small closet in the hall that I wanted carpet in.
