I absolutely love Village Pet Grooming. They do such an impressive job on my 1yr old springer doodle who does not love being groomed... They are so kind and VERY doodle friendly!! They also consistently give him the best cut - it has been the only haircut I have ever liked after picking him up!!! I could not recommend them more for your grooming needs.

You're not just a number there. They use modern equipment to really pivot you forward. Towards better flexibility and less pain. Growing old is a challenge. I am a 71-year-old retired pediatrician. In my case aging involves Parkinson's disease and loss of neuromuscular control. I wanted to try physical therapy to prolong my muscular function. I am a hiker and plan to stay out in the woods as long as possible. I came to Vulcan Performance because I prefer an independent physical therapy office with expertise and a personal touch. Members of the staff have specialized training in assisting Parkinson's patients. At the beginning, I visited twice a week and have continued to work with Vulcan Performance at least weekly. Clients are a mixture of older folks like me trying to maintain function and younger folks with various sports related or orthopedic injuries. I like that mixture. It is a cheery place. I always smile as I walk in the front door, largely because of the very positive attitude of the therapists there. I think we have been successful in slowing down the rate of muscular deterioration. But now I'm moving on to the next chapter of my disease and having deep brain stimulation surgery. And I'm continuing to make my appointments with Vulcan Performance to help me through this next transition in my aging process.

I love Nail Envy! I used to go to a nearby salon, but the owner (a very cool guy) won me over one night before Thanksgiving, working me in with someone late. The place was clean, had an upbeat vibe, and everyone was very friendly. I’ve been going there ever since and everyone in there is great. I am kind of partial to Vivian though… if only I could schedule a 30 minute massage with her. My manicures & pedicures look brand new for 2 weeks- I highly recommend it!

I brought a man who works for me in for a new patient appointment today. I greatly appreciate them getting him in at his appointment time. A few days ago we went to another office and they made him wait over 2 hours until we finally walked out. The chiropractor here is explaining everything to him. Dr Blake is very nice and helpful. This location is farther from my jobsite than the other clinic in Hoover, but we ( 4 of us) will be coming here while we are in town. We travel nationwide for work and go to The Joint where ever we travel.

Looking for a old school barber shop in the Mountain Brook community, this is it. New facility in the new Lane Park development, I think there's 10 chairs, plenty of trained staff and easy in n out. Parking can be a challenge, but going at off peak hours, it's doable. They book appointments and accept walk-ins, quality haircuts at reasonable prices. Shout out to my barber Charlie, good barber doesn't get rushed and also produces a good cut.

I went to this salon when I couldn't get in at a couple of nearby places that were higher rated. I am glad I did! I am extremely pleased with my manicure. Very smooth, not peeling, the gel is set well so it's hard enough to withstand scratches. Very good work. If you're looking to go to a place with a more conversational atmosphere, go somewhere else, but if you want a quality manicure, this is excellent.
I always have a great massage, I usually see Cindy or Tiana, both are really good therapists. Tiana has this thing she does with moist heat I really enjoy when my muscles are tight. Cindy does a great job stretching me out before she gets started. I wish they all would use warm massage oils, cold lubricants on a warm body has a chilling effect. I still recommend.

My first experience seeing a dermatologist and my experience was fantastic. I was nervous at first but the entire staff made me feel comfortable and Dr. Wendy was absolutely wonderful and knows her medicine. Will return if I ever have any more problem.
