The office environment is pleasant, and appointments are scheduled efficiently, with minimal wait times. The doctors, including Dr. Murphy and Dr. Izer, are knowledgeable and trustworthy, and the Optical Department provides high-quality glasses. The staff, including Kathy and Jill, are friendly and professional, making the experience from check-in to check-out a positive one. Patients appreciate that they are greeted with a smile and do not have to listen to exhausting menus, making the process easier and more personal. The team is very professional and friendly, creating a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors. The staff shows great patience and understanding, especially for young children or those who may feel anxious about visits. For example, one patient’s young daughter, who was traumatized from past doctor visits, was able to be seen comfortably thanks to the staff’s patience and help. Dr. Izer’s team is attentive and informative, providing thorough care and quick responses to after-hours concerns. Overall, the clinic continues to be a trusted place where patients feel cared for and valued.
The wait times are too long at this facility. The other issue is that some staff are very rude, especially the lady who handles appointments. She acts as though customers are bothering her by calling to make or reschedule an appointment. The care received is okay but far from exceptional.
I have used both Montgomery and Wetumpka offices. I was treated very well by everyone! Dr. Murphy is thorough, polite and respectful. The wait is long, but that's also the case at other opthalmology offices in our area.
I appreciate being answered by a person and not having to listen through an exhausting menu. The staff and doctor's have always greeted my family with a smile and they were very helpful in getting my insurance questions answered.
