Pretty condescending towards me and my dog who was a shelter dog and is still kinda shy around new people but is overall very well behaved. Also printed off the wrong directions on an antibiotic medication, which could have led to my dog building an antibiotic resistance to the meds and getting worse. If it wasn't for my background in the health field allowing me to recognize the medication, I could've been giving my dog an antibiotic incorrectly. I had to call them to verify it was wrong, which it was, and warn them to be sure not to print other dogs' meds incorrectly. The clinic itself is also pretty dreary and sad looking. Go at your own discretion, but there are so many other vet clinics that will make your pup feel safe and excited while also properly educating you as a pet parent throughout the appointment (and will print medication directions correctly).

Updating my review - 6 years later and I can say Dr Davies is still a miracle worker with my dogs ! I have a silver lab now who is extremely allergic & even reacted to his annual shots ! Dr Davies calmly plans his annual shots and still imo the best Vet in AL ! Hands down ! Also the staff here are amazing ! It's right by WTD daycare too so I find they do things about half the price of my daycare !! I love everyone in this place!

I called Hoke Animal clinic to see if they could tell when what ages my dogs should recieve their vaccines. Monya answered all my questions. She was friendly and more than helpful. I was told that if I had any other questions not to hesitate to call. Thank you for all your help!
