“I needed an shirt pressed that day for an wedding fast, it was done in 2 hours where no one else would do it after going to 5 other cleaners. The amazement & professionalism of the staff made it possible to get it done. “Went into The Sewing Room for supplies for the Party Ribbons smocking plate. It has been discontinued so they didn’t have a copy. None of us could remember how much of each color ribbon was needed, so we all started Googling it with no luck. I am posting the directions here for future reference. ?“
“Felecia is always superb in her design, quality and speed of service. Totally trust her vision!“
“Pete, addressed my concern and handled it professionally. He stands by his business and cares about his customers. I am happy to have been a customer for the past 8 years and will do business here for the foreseeable future.Service: Couches/sofas“
“I wanted the sleeves to a blouse shortened. The buttons(3 each sleeve) were removed. The sleeves were turned up, twice, the folding was tacked in place. The buttons were sewnon the fold of the cuff. I was not measured by a person who knows how to alter garments(red flag). Spoke with owner, ask me to bring the blouse back, so he or an employee can seethe blouse and decide what to do. The company needs to hire a seamstress who knows how to do alterations. The button holes were covered by the buttons, can’t button cuffs.“
“Valeria has done a lot of quality work for my family. In fact, she tailored my entire family's wedding day outfits, including my wedding dress and a gorgeous gown for my honeymoon.
I'm especially grateful for this business because she took my wedding gown at the last minute and made fantastic changes. It was unwearable before then it fit almost perfectly! Even though it was last minute and had layers of lace, she made it work for a fabulous price. I'm very grateful and recommend this business!“
“They did a great job altering a couple of pair of pants for me.Price was reasonable, I will come back, if if I had more jobs like this, thank you“
“I have taken my clothes as well as my husband’s clothes to her. The work was completed so well that neither of us could tell where the fabric was ripped. She is very good at what she does and her prices are reasonable. I will be bringing her more garments soon.“
“I was referred to Ramsey's alterations via the Clothes Tree Michelle is awesome!! She altered my daughter's prom dress and it fit her perfectly. She is by far the seamstress I have encountered. Thank you MichelleServices: Formal wear tailoring“
“Annie did a great job. She had my alterations ready in plenty of time. Her attention to detail was appreciated. She did good work on my pants for a good price.“
“I own a vintage clothes business and exclusively use Mary and crew at ABC to mend every piece that needs it. I have been using ABC for over 5 years. Mary knows how to work with vintage clothes often doing a lot of the sewing by hand. She understands when I have a show coming up and need things faster than normal. I would recommend ABC for any alterations needed. They have beautifully sewn on buttons, relined a fur stole (not easy), mended a million pulled hems, reworked dresses and just about anything else you can think of. So...just one person's opinion but I could not live without them!“
“The owner of the business is a wonderful and lovely woman. She is clearly overwhelmed with volume of work and has trouble keeping up with the number of jobs she takes on. The quality of her work is really high, just don’t be in a hurry. I had her replace the lining of a 40 year old sleeping bag which that also required some repairs. It turned out great! I also had her turn a few t-shirts into throw pillows. The prices all seemed fair for the quality of work. The business is located in downtown Homewood and is easy to access.“
