I should have called Olan sooner, it would have saved me a lot of money! I noticed a spot on my ceiling and followed it to my attic air handler. I found water condensation and I thought I had a soldering issue with my large copper pipe going into my attic air handler.Olan walked through a diagnostic on the phone with me and instructed me to just cover my copper pipes with the insulation I already had. That’s my ugly work in the pictures, not his!Olan didn’t say “I’ll have to come out for a $75-$100 service charge” or come out and replace unnecessary things or add unnecessary Freon to my system. Another super speedy service call at a super reasonable price!Olan replaced and upgraded an undersized and worn-out Heat Pump in my first home over 20 years ago, complete with a 10 year extended warranty on both parts and labor at a very reasonable out-the-door price. Over the last 20 years he's been out a handful of times -- some under warranty, some not -- to diagnose and fix various minor issues and maintenance items that typically occur during the lifetime of a Heat Pump. They showed up on time with a call to say they were coming. They wore masks. They were very nice and happy to explain to me what they were doing. I felt they were super honest and straightforward. My HVAC is 10 years old and other companies had said it would need replacing soon during my semi-annual checkups. They said my unit was in one of the best conditions they had seen for it's age and that I was good to go with just a checkup and the good cleaning they gave it. They even poured the bleach down the spout for me from the attic. They cost a little more than the twice a year contracts but for the first time I felt I was treated with honesty and integrity during my semi-annual checkup. I will use only them from now on because honesty and integrity are worth more than constant upselling I got from the various semi-annual contracts I have had through the years.
