The Brister’s are the best kind of people. They have welcomed and embraced my little boy who has verbal challenges and made him confident and disciplined. I am forever grateful to Steve Brister for his patience and impact on my son. God bless him and his family.
Brister’s Martial Arts Academy provides an excellent program of respect and integrity for Taekwondo. They do not require contracts which is amazing! They understand life happens sometimes. They understand some kids need to take the summer off.They care and make you feel like family. Our son not only reached his goal of earning his black belt, but his work ethic, ability to accept admonition, to stand in front of peers for testing, and to listen to direction and correction improved 100%. Our daughter is now taking classes and our son (11years old) told us to not let her quit until she gets her black belt. Completed my week trial yesterday. I went 3 out of 4 days and I would have done 4 of 4 but I was tied up on Wednesday. I took Taekwondo classes when I was younger and enjoyed it and I wanted to start now to get healthier and learn some discipline and self defense. I will be signing up next week for sure. The class is taken seriously yet it is fun and you are able to learn a lot. I’m looking forward to progressing with Brister’s Martial Arts.
