i scheduled a short hair cut which includes shampoo, conditioner, blow dry, and hair cut at $25. however, i was immediately seated at the salon chair rather than the shampoo chair. i assumed she would ask what i want and then take me to the shampoo chair but instead she started cutting my hair. long story short, i was charged for an express cut which is $35. i definitely should’ve spoken up and let her know that i wanted my hair washed but i assumed she knew what i wanted from my booking. i felt as this if she dismissed my booking because she had another client in a different chair but i’m not sure.all of this to say, my haircut is still really cute and i’m happy...read full review

Found the best beautician ever ! Brandy who is also the manager she has done wonders to my hair she really knows all about fixing hair she stripped all the dark brown out of my hair in 3 sessions then highlighted it I am so happy with my new hair she's also very friendly if your looking for a good beauty shop JC PENNY in fultondale Alabama ! Is the place to go !! All the other girls that work there are really good also and very friendly !!

I’ve been looking for a good hairstylist since mine moved over a year ago . Tried 2 places in Gardendale & was disappointed. Then I found out Penny’s had a Salon & got an appointment that same day . She did a “Stacked Bob” & It’s The BEST HAIR CUT I’VE EVER HAD ! Thanks JC Penny !
