First, let me say that everyone in the salon was so kind, professional, & efficient. I wanted smedium boho knotless braids in 613, & not only was it better than I imagined but I was finished up in about 5 hours- I absolutely love my hair! I might as well mention that I have received many complements on my hair too ? I will definitely be back next time I want braids!!

I had heard about this salon before as a gay-friendly and just fun, laid-back place to get a haircut. So I booked an appointment with Melanie, the CURL CONNOISSEUR, with the intention to get a shag. When I showed up for the appointment, I checked in with the desk and sat in the waiting area. It is so vibrant and relaxing in this building. They have done a wonderful job of making it feel eccentric and elevated. When Melanie pulled me back, we talked about hair goals and then got to work. We covered so many topics just talking, from my recent divorce to 1980’s movies. One of the co-owners walked by my chair a few time and gave little hype-ups in passing. That felt really good for my hair anxiety. I had a great time chatting with her and I am obsessed with my new cut! I was also impressed with the entire coffee bar and that they offer cocktails!
