“As a groomer at this business I can one million percent tell all customers that we strive to ALWAYS take care of ur babies when they are w us. We treat each & every 1 of the pups big & small as if they are ours while they are with us. All of us have multiple dogs & cats & we adore ours just like each of you do yours. We know how we would want our babies treated in the same situation. We understand karma & truely believe in it & pride ourselves in the fact that we do love your babies & take care of them while in our care. I can assure all of our present clients & any potential future clients that IF there is EVER a problem with a dog on the table while grooming, during the bath or the drying process of ANY of the pups that we ALWAYS inform the owner of the problem. Things happen, most dogs don’t understand that we are only trying to help them & they LOVE 2 wiggle & move constantly. This can be very dangerous for the babies since we are using sharp objects on their body, head, around privates & faces. At times this can be dangerous for us if the pups decide they ARE NOT going to let us do anything & they had rather bite us than love us & because we love ur doggies & do our best to make the experience great for us & them they may have to be muzzled or corrected during the process. They can have mats in their hair that pull on them when we try to get them out or sometimes they are matted completely to the skin & this isn’t comfortable for either of us that is why we strongly suggest brushing your longer hair pups daily with a comb or brush. Of all things I can promise I can absolutely promise that your doggies being comfortable & enjoying coming to see us is a top priority in our shop as well as their safety & ours. If there is EVER ANYTHING that happens with anyone’s pup we ALWAYS communicate that with mom & dad whether it be something as serious as a cut on the pup down to something as simple as us finding a new mole on them. We verbalize it & record it on the pups card. The very last thing we want is for anyone’s dog to be scared of us. To be a groomer you have to have a DEEP LOVE for animals & I can assure everyone that all of us @ Classic Clips has that love for animals. This can be a trying job at times & when you find people that have been apart of this business for 10 plus years you know they LOVE what they do & we LOVE the pups we take care of. They become apart of our family when they are w us. We love being of service to our clients & their fur babies. It upsets me when I see a review like this bc I have worked at not so good grooming places, (not in Alabama) I have reported grooming places I’ve worked for because of the treatment toward the pups but this is 1 of the BEST places I have worked especially as far as the treatment of the babies. I hope that we can continue to work with ALL of our pups that we love so very much. And we can work together if there is ever a problem that someone has personally had or if someone believes they seen us mistreating a pup. I wish we could’ve addressed this the very moment there was a feeling that a baby was being mistreated. We know the exact pup that you are talking about & I promise his mom & dad know he can be difficult at times & that we have 2 stand our ground with him & they are very aware. But we do appreciate you looking out for the well being of animals. Please continue to ALWAYS do that. There IS NOT enough people that look out 4 them. Remember we have to be their voices since they can not tell us exactly how they are feeling. Thank you.“
