I went in for treatment last night with a migraine and everything went AMAZING. Only thing I am highly pissed about is I went to get a X-ray done, the nurses took off my jewelry before doing the X-ray, when I got ready to leave I didn't get my jewelry back, I call and NOBODY knows anything. Two gold chains that my late father gave to me. I am highly posses about this. If I knew my jewelry would've been stolen from the hospital I would have went somewhere else! this the second time this has happened. Why steal from patients?
I've had very mixed experiences here. Overall though, my experiences have not been good. In January of 2021, I got COVID pneumonia. My oxygen saturations were dropping at home and I was struggling to breathe. The nurses refused to do any further testing on me as I had returned twice with worsening symptoms and basically told me to stop coming in, although I had come in on a nurse's advice line telling me to. I came in for a dog bite in April of this year, to which they told me to leave it open to air. I ended up with a very painful infection. I also came in once after waking up unable to walk. They did an x-ray and ultrasound and sent me home without any answers and still unable to walk (and with no assistive device.) I later learned I have a vascular tumor in my leg, which should have been visible on the x-ray AND the ultrasound. Recently, I broke a rib. They gave me pain meds meant for HEADACHES. The doctor in charge when I returned (after realizing this, and was in excruciating pain) was baffled. I discovered I had an old fracture in my lower spine by reading my CT report, because no doctor cared to mention it to me and told me my CT was clear. Overall, really bad hospital that only cares about freeing up beds and treating patients like they're being dramatic.
Bandaid station at best. The EMTS? Fix ur own injury. Lol The drs here are a joke. I had staph infection and that fool told me "It will get better if you'd leave it alone" WOW JUST WOW
