“We have been exceptionally pleased with the care given to my husband and I over the past two years. The care givers are compassionate, attentive to the needs of my husband and home, and family-oriented in their approach. Caregivers have offered excellent care in making sure that my husband's medical needs were met, such as making sure his medication is taken on time and offering assistance as he moves around the house -- he has Parkinson's and needs assistance with balance and movement. When there have been a few hiccups along the way, the office staff has reached out to make sure shifts were covered and have scheduled back-up caregivers with the same exceptional care. I am most pleased with the ability to have Home Instead take on the responsibilities that I would have had to do if hiring privately, like hiring and training, covering shifts when caregivers have needs of their own, and paperwork to track taxes, social security, etc. for each caregiver. They have been a God-send to us during a time when stress has been at its highest level. There has been conscious effort by the administrative staff to ensure that there is a good fit between us and the caregivers. All concerned have worked with us when we have reached out with a concern or need. I highly recommend them to meet senior care needs.“
