I started going to Ji's in 1989, when the Army transferred me to Ft. Novosel from Northern Virginia. Whenever I needed a haircut, that was my barbershop of choice. For the past 10 years I have been retired, still live in Dothan, and still go there for haircuts. It is still my favorite barbershop.

I went to Mr Ji when he worked on Ft Rucker in the late 80s, I went to Mr Ji when I was in flight school in the early 90s. I went to Mr Ji when back at Rucker for courses in the 2000s and 2010s. I still go to Mr Ji when I’m back home at Rucker. I am sad Mr Ji has passed, but his shop is still the best around.
