We first reached out to Peter Gaillard about four years ago when we needed to expand our warehouse operations in Theodore, Alabama, just south of Mobile. Having outgrown our previous 100,000 SF facility, we purchased an adjacent 4.5-acre lot and engaged Peter and his team to help us maximize the footprint. After extensive discussions and planning meetings with city officials, and maximizing the footprint as much as possible, we settled on a new 90,000 SF warehouse design, with offices.

Coming from California, where construction projects are often a logistical nightmare, we weren’t expecting much. In SoCal, you’re lucky if a drywaller shows up to patch a ceiling, let alone finding a reliable GC to erect an entire building. After interviewing half a dozen general contractors in Alabama and speaking with their past clients, we chose Gaillard Builders. We expected the usual contractor headaches but instead got the complete opposite—an absolute bullseye.

We anticipated a three-year ordeal for our first build, but in just 18 months, we had the keys to our brand-new warehouse. The process was smooth, professional, and, most importantly, drama-free. Because of that stellar experience, we enthusiastically moved forward with our second expansion project in South Alabama, knowing we were in the right hands.
