I need double the stars to describe my first experience with West Alabama Animal Hospital. During my busiest season at work I came home to a skinny mewling kitty hunkered behind the cherry blossom tree. He was obviously domesticated but had been rambling awhile. I worried about the expense (I was rarely able to get out of my FORMER vet clinic for less than $500 to $1700 depending on the ailment) and my best friend (they have 8 cats they saved from the streets) recommended this facility. From the very first phone call I knew it was gonna be okay. Walk-ins? Sure! So very grateful to have West Alabama Animal Hospital in our area. Dr. Freddy Lowe, his wife, and their staff are all wonderful, caring and compassionate people. Dr. Freddy gives each animal the time and attention it needs, and takes time to talk with the owners about their pet’s care, answer questions, and never pushes you to buy supplies or services your pet doesn’t really need. Never seen any of the staff become frustrated with a frightened or unruly animal. They treat every animal as if it were their own. Prices are reasonable and the care is superb! Wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else!
Dr. Freddy Lowe is awsome. Him & his staff are good with & to your babies, i drive 45 miles each wsy when mine are sick. Hes the only vet my babies will ever go to. Thanks to all of yall there for the care yall give.
