It seems like there are probably some kind people in this congregation, but it's a) super unclear what they stand for- generic spirituality, maybe?? And b) it feels kinda cult-y. Like they all have this insider jargon, act like they can control the universe with their mental powers, and come across as really fake. I don't know, it made me feel weird. I won't go back.

Unity has the most loving, open minded, and inclusive people I have met in Birmingham. They have become my metaphysical family. If you don't resonate with traditional religious teachings and still want a sense of community, come visit us (virtually, for now)!

Open-minded. Open-hearted. Late enough 11 am Sunday service. Quality music led by Dr. Steve Roberts, Director of the Jazz Ensemble at UAB. This Sunday, dress in your Halloween costume. Stay after for trunk or treat. Kids program is remarkable. Christin Knight is an amazing human.
