The Whitaker Clinic of UAB Hospital, opened in 2017, offers advanced healthcare services and is conveniently located near The Kirklin Clinic. Patients generally praise the physicians for their kindness, thoroughness, and professionalism. The clinic itself is attractive, and waits aren't long. Everyone encountered at the clinic was very nice, with no one seen with a bad bedside manner. The clinic is a one stop shop; you see your doctor, then when you need to get labs/blood work it is just around the corner on the same floor. However, there are recurring concerns about the staff at the front desk. Parking has been identified as a major problem, with parking being very difficult depending on the time of day, and street parking too is limited.
Dr. Conway Huang did my surgery on my nose 7-9-25. He was the most informative, kind, gentle, patient Doctor I have ever meet! I just loved him! He made my surgery seem like I had a old friend in the room! It sure made the surgery more comfortable and less anxiety!! I would recommend him and the Whitaker staff to anyone.. Renee Gentry
Dr. Graham & the students working with her were accommodating, pleasant, reassuring, and professional. The facility was clean & well-maintained. From reception to checkout the process was quick & efficient without feeling rushed.
The clinic is no different than Kirklan Clinic that was previously described. It shares the parking structure with Kirklan, and depending on the time of day, parking can be very difficult. There is street parking, but it too is limited. The clinic itself is attractive, and waits aren't long.
