I have struggled with insomnia for more than 45 years. Other physicians that I have visited have paid little attention to my sleep issues, and in fact did not seem interested in getting to the root cause of why I haven’t been able to sleep very well since I was in elementary school. But Dr. Patterson was different.Dr. Patterson was the most kind and professional doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Everyone I’ve seen at UAB has been wonderful. I’ve never once felt rushed, even by nurses over the phone.They take time to listen and treat you like they are truly invested in your health. They provide a level of care, respect, and attentiveness that makes a huge difference and stands in clear contrast of too many professionals outside of the UAB system.
