A wonderful experience in a time where they took really care and respect of my mother’s memory. I appreciate the Director, Joshua, for being a wonderful and professional individual with great morals and respect.
Jim Johnson, the funeral director of Johns-Ridout's Southside location, was extraordinary in every way after the unexpected passing of our mom. He went above and beyond to assist us during the entire process, always taking the time to answer our questions in a timely manner, with caring professionalism. From the proof reading of her obituary to the special accommodations before her cremation to the respectful delivery of her ashes, Jim was there for us. His straightforward clarity and calming compassion made all the difference for our family during this very difficult and confusing time. We will be forever grateful.
We are from South Alabama and my husband passed while at UAB. We knew no funeral homes in the area. Called several friends and each recommended John-Ridout's without talking to each other. They were timely, professional and gentle with our family who was in shock and mourning. We appreciated their care and service.
