I picked Dovetails and Stitches when I couldn't find a local carpenter to help me with some custom shelving, and it was the best choice I could've made! Experienced, professional, high quality, intuitive, great communication, fast, and practical -- and they even kept me practical, which is a challenge in itself. The owner was very easy to work with. He even seemed to love the unique challenges of my project and looked forward to its eccentricities.Also, important note, I'm not in Alabama, but that was not a problem. Dovetails and Stitches ships all over the world. They know what they're doing, and they love making great projects happen.Services: Woodworking

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dovetails and Stitches to create a custom mid-century modern desk of my dreams! From our first consultation, they were very attentive and helped me bring my vision to life. It was great to have a responsive point of contact to keep me informed throughout the entire building process with regular emails, photos, and updates.
