“So I have had quite a bit of work done over the past couple of years, beyond the normal checkups and cleanings twice a year. Through the years I had 8 root canals (and 8 crowns) & 3 apicoectomies. So I tried my best to keep the teeth God gave me but about 2 years ago 4 of those 8 teeth decided to give up the fight...so in comes Dr. Harris with a plan to install two pairs of implants (2 upper right and 2 lower left), the process is long... beginning with removal of the "dead" teeth, build-up of the bone to anchor the posts in, etc. etc. But now after I feel like I have become part of the family (it is an involved but meticulous process) I have 4 new teeth that I cannot distinguish from natural ones except I don't have to worry about fillings, root canals, etc. Everyone at Dental Associates of Athens has been awesome.
