I was charged $270 for the purchase and installation of a toilet lid that cost the company $30 and required less than one hour of the company's time.

I was flabbergasted but blame myself for not getting an estimate beforehand. I will NEVER do business with Barrett Plumbing of Anniston, Alabama again.

It took a week to get them out, but this could be miscommunication with the landlord. However once they were here, the were done in about an hour, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied.

The technician, Jason, ran my dishwasher for an hour, only to tell me that they do not service appliances. The original call was not for my dishwasher, but for pipes under my sink that may lead to the dishwasher. The technician couldn't figure out what caused the leak, so his solution was to just turn the water off under my sink. I told him that I needed the water On & to just close the pipe that leads to my dishwasher. In less than 5 minutes he capped the pipe. $165 for a technician to not provide a solution, but to do a quick temporary fix of capping a pipe. $165. I wouldn't recommend this business.
