You can feel the collective years of experience between both salon owners, they work incredibly hard for their clients and it shows. The salon itself is gorgeous and its so perfect for social media. I haven't had my hair cut by anyone else in probably 6 years. 20/10 recommend
Primary Electric has been our go-to electricians here at the Windbreak Cafe. They have never encountered a problem they couldn’t fix, every job has been completed quickly and they always charge a more than fair price.
I was referred to Sumner for septic work and am so thankful for that referral. I have always loved their homes and am glad to know I can call them for smaller jobs as well. The septic system was no small job though, it was winter, the most snow we had gotten at one time in years, and there were complications with the system. They knocked it out quickly and as affordably as possible. Great communication with me and my clients. Their work got the clients home to close on time and we are grateful to Max and his team for that. Thank you!

LandMax is fabulous! They did an initial estimate and then we made several different changes. We were impressed that Jordan asked to come out a second time just so he could make sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. The work began when promised, the crew was polite and hard working. We love the finished product and have had many people comment on how great it looks.

I am a woman with bra length curly hair and they charge the cheapest and do the best work in the valley. They might be missing the fanciness and the frills, but so unnecessary imo. I've never had a bad haircut here and the prices are so good, I usually tip 100%.
What a beautiful studio! Very comfortable and inviting. Emily was amazing! She was professional, kind, very skilled and talked with me to come up with a game plan for my hair. If you’re looking for a quick, but good haircut, Stay Golden Barber Studio is the place to go. Kayleen did a great job at cutting my hair, especially compared to other barbers I’ve been to in Alaska. She cut my hair EXACTLY how I asked, which no one else has done before. She even recommended products to make the curls in my hair look better and not so frizzy. I definitely will be returning here.

Maybe they can open another facility closer to Houston area

When she styled it she used the most amazing products that were right for my hair type and they smelled delightful. We will be going back to visit her!

I had a bunch of questions about laying my own infloor heating. The good old boy behind the counter was very accommodating. Although they had a steady flow of customers coming in he really took his time on my project. They rented me some tools for my DIY project and when I'm ready I'll be going back to get the boiler and fittings there. Highly recommended.

We had an urgent electrical issue come up on a Sunday night at my father's house. He is 85 years old, had just been released from the hospital with a broken rib after a fall and has dementia, so any disruption in his routine sets him off. A friend recommended Vannoy Electric, and I called them first thing Monday morning and explained the situation. They said they would be out that day and kept us updated with their expected arrival time. They showed up on time and the job was completed and my father had power by 5 pm. I cannot begin to thank them as I was somewhat panicked that morning thinking that we were probably going to have to wait for days to even get anyone out. But, Vannoy made the entire process seamless - from initial contact to job completion. Each of the staff/crew (Dare at the office and the on-site crew) were very professional, courteous and helpful as they found the problem, repaired it and made recommendations for other issues that were found. I feel that they went above and beyond and cannot begin to thank them for working us into their busy Monday schedule. I absolutely recommend Vannoy Electric. They will be the only electrical company we now call for any electrical issues.

We LOVE Dr. Lily and Emily, our hygienist. I have always had an extreme fear of the dentist until getting a filling with them a couple of years ago and it was so quick and painless! Now we are regular patients. My 5 year old got a filling this week by Dr. Lily and her assistant and she said she didn’t even feel the “pinch”. She loved that “Elsa” froze her tooth and now the cavity is gone! I highly recommend everyone at Alaska Premier, but especially those two!

I took my daughter in for some swelling after losing a baby tooth and another concern. They staff was warm and welcoming and everyone felt so genuine. My (9 year old) commented that it was the prettiest office she had ever been to with the vew. It was my first visit here but I will be switching to them as my new regular family dentist.

I initially started coming here for chronic back pain. I was well enough to get back to work with no restrictions. Then I was hit head on, and needed care for my neck and back and they thoroughly doctored me back to somewhat normal conditions before the accident. As my fortune would have it, I was hit by another reckless driver and again Arctic Chiropractic took care of me and I'm returning to work after two long years. Revised 2.24.2024:I recently had the pleasure of working with Juanita over the billing issues we had. And I can tell you with confidence that she really went to bat with our insurance company over the incorrect billing issue we experienced here. Receiving this level of customer service is unheard of anymore. After closer inspection, Aetna was WRONG! And we are so lucky that Juanita knew what to do. It seems like your own insurance would have your best interests in mind, right? ? Guess again.Juanita if you see this, thank you again for going back to fix this. I know it is not ideal to fight with insurance companies over anything.Msmades—————————Staff and doctor were all pleasant and welcoming. No problems there. Massage was a little strong for my taste- resulting in bruising and soreness for a few days. I should have asked for lighter pressure, but I have never had a massage that made me feel bruised afterward like that. The true challenge I experienced here was that my husband and I were assured that our services were covered by our insurance, even after we questioned that our insurance didn’t typically cover massages. So we figured, ok fine, if we have to pay for the massage, fine. The chiropractor visit will be covered.Turns out our insurance barely covered any of the visit fees. So I guess that’s a lesson for us- ask the insurance first- don’t trust what the doctor’s office is promising. The cost of the massage here is high compared to other massage therapy locations in the area. So that was a costly lesson of over $500.

Charlie was very nice and accommodating, seeing as I was a bit late, and the actual massage had great pressure where I needed it. After the massage Charlie even gave me some tips, stretches, and exercises to help with my shoulders. Also free snacks.
