I have to give a shout-out to Knik River Veterinary Services for taking in my boy Salvador for almost a month so he could stay warm, change up his diet, and get started on much-needed arthritis meds 🐐❤️🙏. Salvie is 14 yo, so he needs extra/different care, and I needed an education on how to better attend to his needs in his elder years (i.e. he can’t chew hay anymore). However much longer we have with Salvie, I will always remember and be grateful for Dr. Holland’s assistance and good advice 🙏. Salvador came home to a renovated/much warmer barn last night and his lifelong love, Frida. They were thrilled to see each other after so long apart, head butts all around!!! 🐐❤️🐐Just checked on them and Salvie is chewing his cud while Frida rests her head on his belly 🐐😍🐐. They’re so happy. Thank you, Dr. Holland, we are grateful.

Wonderful, skilled, caring services for large animals and those of us tending them. Dr. Holland is a fine vet and an excellent educator - no nonsense, practical, boots on the ground.
