“I got my 1st micro-needling session from the owner Sohyun and it was absolutely amazing! The service was top notch with an after cooling mask and scalp massage that was heavenly. I healed so well I decided to come back for the 2nd session of micro- needling and she added in a 10 minute session of red light therapy after to assist with the healing process and I do feel like it helped! The spa carries Aveda products that are vegan and cruelty free. I just love everything about this place and highly recommend it.“

She was very kind and accommodating when I came in as I was running late misjudging my travel time from Eagle River. Very calm and non-judgmental which put me at ease. Her space is very clean and also very soothing. I love my lashes and received the compliments that they looked natural and fit my face and eye shape. I don’t wear make-up so they really were perfect for my more natural, but feminine vibe. Highly recommend!“

When you arrive, you're led to a room that is comforting and relaxing. When the facial starts, you're introduced to pure bliss. Jen went thru some options but I basically left it up to her. She explained everything that she was doing very well. Not only did it feel great during the facial but I cannot remember my skin looking so good after any of the others. “Great COVID protocols. All must be masked, temp taken, questions asked. Also -I've been seeing Ashley about year now and have a very troubled back. Fused spine T4-L4 to treat scoliosis for the past 24 years. I'm pretty active but not super athletic. Anyway, if you want a medical massage that really deals with tension and knots she will work with you to get movement back and decrease pain even if it's longterm issues. She had helped me with scar tissue, old knots, even TMJ. I am thrilled to have recommended her to others who also have only good things to say! “I got the Aurora Massage Package today that included a body scrub, a 90-minute hot stone massage, and a wrap. I got there 30 minutes before my appointment and was able to get a sauna treatment added to my package. The front desk was very friendly, took my coat, and offered me water or tea. The spa is quite cozy and so zen! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was able to start relaxing. My therapist was Amanda. She took me upstairs to my massage room, was very clear about instructions, and explained what the massage package entailed. I expressed that I was hurting because I've slipped and fell 3 times over the past 2 days, and I would appreciate it if she would give the problem areas a little more attention. She absolutely did! The massage was amazing! Thank you, Amanda, for fixing my lower back! After my package, I was instructed to the sauna where you have a beautiful view of the outdoors! I loved that I never felt rushed; I was always addressed by my name; I was given an experience and not just a quick treatment. I don't live here, but I plan on coming back to Alaska and will definitely be back to Raven's Nest Spa!“
