Been coming here since 2021. The only barber shop where I will literally travel across town to get my haircut. I can’t recommend Sam enough, he’s honestly a vibe and easy to get along with.
Honestly, the BEST place in town. I’ve been going to Sam for a year now and I’m so glad I switched to him over Hectic. His cuts are so clean and fades are so blurry you’ll swear you’re catching glimpses of The Zohan in the mirror. Not only are his haircuts amazing but so are his facial hair trims. He gave me tips that absolutely transformed my beard and gave me a trim that had me looking like I owned oil in the Middle East. Also, you will not get the comradery you get here with anyone else. Always a friendly staff at the Refuge! Great service from Sam, Luigi, Chad, and Jay.
Sam was timely, clean, and professional. He knows how to work with the odd swirls and parts in my hair which I've always had trouble with. I didn't give much direction but I'm real happy with the end product. Good service and skill. 10/10
