“Carol came to our home and spent time with us to help with barking in the back yard and at the doorbell, pulling on walks and interacting with other dogs on walks. Since that time, we have put Carol's suggestions to use and Carl has been a different dog! We are still only a couple of weeks out from training but we are amazed that he has stopped pulling on walks and we have been able to stop any barking after just one bark. We are still working at stopping at it before it starts but it has been so much better! We are still a work in progress when meeting other dogs but that too has shown progress! We highly recommend Bark Busters! Dave and Marcy“
“This is a great place to take my dog Teto. He spent a bunch of days here while we were at hospital for my mom's liver transplant related appointments.
I will be taking him here whenever I am in the Edmonton area when needed. I also love all the photos you post on your Facebook page.“
“The staff is great and my dog is always excited to head in at drop off. It’s reasonably priced, they keep their Facebook updated with daily photos, and I always bring home a tired pup!“
“We’ve been going to Posh Pooch for a few years with our dog and two cats, either for daycare or longer term boarding when travelling, and they always take such good care of our animals. The staff is just so great, and the posted pictures daily let us know our pets are safe and having fun! Additional services like baths and trimming are always done with the utmost of care and have them looking great! Highly recommend Posh Pooch!“
“Waggy tails is the absolute best!. My dog had the best care, and if anyone needs an overnight kennel, waggy tails is the BEST.
It made me so happy to see my puppy was loved so much.“
“Always a great experience. My doggo is always nervous about her paws, but the staff here are pros and make her feel comfortable and safe.“
“A solid groom! Not a fancy place with reception and nice waiting area. Expect a very dog show feel to the place. But the grooming is fantastic! Only place I've found in Edmonton that knew how to properly groom my hairless Chinese crested. Definitely reccomend!“
“I can't say enough good things about It's A Dog's Life daycare and kennel! Both of my dogs absolutely love going here. As soon as we arrive, they can barely contain their excitement to see the amazing staff. The team genuinely cares for them, always making sure they get plenty of playtime and affection. Whether it's playing fetch or getting those all-important belly rubs, my dogs always come home happy and exhausted. Knowing they’re in such loving hands gives me complete peace of mind. We highly recommend It's A Dog's Life.“
“Awesome owners and a good facility. It is cage-free and allows the dogs to free roam. Ultimately it wasn't a fit for our fur baby and they didn't have the capacity to work with my dog individually at the time. Would still recommend to those looking for daycare and overnight stays!“
“Ill let dog be the best judge of this. She LOVES daycare days. The staff here are wonderful and put up with my crazy hyper Boston Terrier“
“My (now senior) dog has been going to See Spot Run for quite some time, and when I got my young fella, he joined the pack as well.
For my young guy, daycare was a wonderful part of learning appropriate social skills in a safe setting, figuring out how to be away from home and away from me, and enjoying being with a variety of dogs. His time at daycare helped immensely with housebreaking and crate training.
For my senior dog, she gets a couple days a week of low-key socializing to break up the monotony of the work (for me) week.
Overall, play is well supervised and dogs are group according to size, play style, energy, etc. Problems are nipped in the bud and managed well by professionals with years of experience in dog behavior and training.
Whether or not your dog attends daycare, there are also classes available, including basic obedience/life skills, agility at all levels, and scent detection. I have done pretty much all of them at one time or another and very much enjoyed the classes.
I appreciate knowing my dogs and I are in good hands here.“
“We are very happy to have Gizmo at Tails they take good care of him and great haircuts we highly recommend Tails for good care of your pets“
“We brought our anxious little puppy to daycare to help socialise her over a year ago. She's still a little crazy, but way better with other dogs and people now. The staff at Creekside are amazing and we really appreciate them.“
“If you are looking for a welcoming, inclusive, safe, supportive place for you and your dog to participate in dogsports, look no further. Dynamo has phenomenal teachers that are well prepared, efficient and experienced. The facility is fantastic (even warm in the winter!) and the community of dog owners who participate in Dynamo classes and trials are some of the most supportive and welcoming people I've met in Edmonton.“
“I have gotten my dog groomed here multiple times since I have had him and everytime was a wonderful experience at the Pampered Puppy. I have gone to the West end and Downtown locations and both treated him as a little angel. I have a Mini Australian shepherd and they were easily able to accommodate for his coat and shedding of his winter and summer coats. Thank you I will be back !“
“Our dogs love this place. It shows how much care and attention the staff take in making sure each pet gets a great day.“
“Very clean and stocked shelves for most pets. Great friendly staff who are knowledgeable and experienced with plenty of pets“
“Definitely my pupper’s favorite groomer - Kenny. He loves them and they made sure that my doggo has less anxiety after every visit. I drive 20min to this store foe the grooming because of Kenny, we will go where Kenny goes!“
“Easy to find my way around, I like the stick they have for reptiles too, plenty of options for tortoise supplies.“
“Adopted a lovely little kitten who is very sweet, healthy and well socialized. Thanks to Malia for her kind assistance throughout the adoption process.
I must have picked the wrong time of day as the store was very busy with a long line-up waiting for the only available cashier. Like many places in Edmonton right now, there are plenty of customers but not an abundance of staff.
The staff were very pleasant and worked as efficiently as they could.“
“I can't say enough great things about this clinic, every visit with my dogs has been a positive experience! They prioritize the well-being of their patients, including those who are fearful or uncomfortable with handling and vet care.
The staff can read dog body language well, adjusting their approach to ensure my dogs feel safe and secure. I really appreciate their efforts to check that the waiting area clear when we come/go, which helps my pup who is fearful of strangers. Their understanding of both health and behavior makes what could be a stressful situation so much easier!
We see Dr. Amy, she has been thorough and attentive, listens to my concerns and never makes me feel like I am being “too much” for asking questions. I appreciate the time she takes with us and her treatment recommendations have greatly improved my dogs' wellness and daily care.
In addition to vet visits, we've participated in training classes (online and in person) and private fear-free sessions, all of which have been game-changers. The qualified trainers and positive reinforcement methods have helped build my dog's confidence in many different situations. Special thanks to Janna, Christy, and Jessica for your support!
I love that this is an independently owned, family-run clinic. Its clear that the Benoits are committed to providing the highest level of care, while setting a standard of compassion and fear-free practices for their clients and the community. The service and attention we've received has exceeded my expectations on every level. I highly recommend their services and wish all pets could experience the same level of care, consideration, and support in their veterinary treatments. Thank you to the Companion team for everything you do! We woof you- Alecia, Lala & Dale“
