Overall, my family was very impressed with the service until it came time to pick up my father's ashes from the funeral home.Since we knew my dad did not have much time, the arrangements process was very straightforward and professional. After a difficult passing at home, we were very relieved to see two well-dressed, soft-spoken, and compassionate gentlemen come to take my dad away. They came to our house within the hour of us calling, expressed their condolences, and made us feel like my dad would be in good hands.When it came time to pick up my dad's ashes however, the man helping us barely said anything. Kathy at affordable cremations is such an amazing lady. I have recently had 2 losses in one month and both times I have called affordable cremations and they have made everything so easy and less traumatic. When my second loved one passed I was overcome with grief and extremely overwhelmed and shocked to now be dealing with 2 people's cremations and end of life wishes. Kathy called the hospital for me to get information I didn't have, she texted me anything I was missing and generally made me feel less alone.
